STATUS-LINE STARTER — DEMONSTRATION ONLY

What this is
A small Python example that formats session data you supply. All included values
are invented. It does not connect to any coding agent or billing provider.

Try it
1. Unzip this download and inspect statusline-example.py in a text editor.
2. Open a terminal in that folder. Python 3 is required and is not bundled.
3. Run:
   python3 statusline-example.py < sample-session.json

Expected output:
Example model A | context 19% | est. $0.42

No package installation, administrator access, credentials, network requests,
background service or file writes. Input is read only from standard input.

Where do the numbers come from?
This example does not discover your model, count tokens, obtain a context limit,
or calculate charges. A real integration would need an adapter for the coding
agent's documented data format. Some fields may not be available. The supplied
cost is an estimate in USD, not a verified provider bill. Context use is not task
completion or remaining runtime. This is not a universal plug-and-play plugin.

The web preview shows how changing example values changes the formatted line.
Running this example does not create a permanent terminal status line: it prints
one line and exits. Continuous display/integration is outside this starter.
