संग्रह का नोट: यह लेख 2019 में उपलब्ध Ubuntu और Certbot टूलों का वर्णन करता है।
Ubuntu 18.04 पर Let’s Encrypt TLS certificate कॉन्फ़िगर करने का तरीका। यहां माना गया है कि Apache, LAMP stack और WordPress पहले से चल रहे हैं और domain आपके नियंत्रण में है।
add-apt-repository ppa:certbot/certbot
apt install python-certbot-apache
certbot –apache -d berndkuhlen.de -d www.berndkuhlen.de
certbot renew –dry-run
Certificate को अपडेट रखने के लिए Certbot cron job जरूर रखें।
मेरा उदाहरण यह है:
0 0 * * * /usr/bin/certbot renew >/home/ubuntu/certbot.txt
2>/home/ubuntu/certbot.err
मेरी अपने-आप बनी कॉन्फ़िगरेशन यह है:

मुझे आश्चर्य हुआ कि Certbot ने नए certificate को शामिल करने और port 443 पर सुनने के लिए मेरी Apache कॉन्फ़िगरेशन खुद अपडेट कर दी।
